As any member of the motherhood tribe will attest, being a mom means that physiologically, mentally, emotionally, hormonally, you’ve been through a lot. So this right here, friend, is a safe harbor.

Fitness does not have to be an overcomplicated equation of calories, trackers, steps or scales. It does not have to bully or shame. It does not have to feel militant. It does not have to take over your whole life. And it should not feel like a punishment.

Articulate, adaptable and easy to follow, Jen’s approach meant that I could channel all my energy into getting as much as possible out of the class, rather than trying to figure out what I was supposed to be doing.
